PFH Technology is looking for an IT Support Engineer (Level 2) to join our growing team.
Contract: 12-month contract
Location: Ringaskiddy, Co Cork – fully onsite

PFH Technologies are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team, working onsite for our client in Ringaskiddy.
The successful candidate will be part of an experienced team and should be a strong 'technical all‑rounder'.
As the IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing systems support and ensuring the stable operation of the in‑house computer systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all IT Systems.
The Role
Maintenance and support of Windows server systems, backup storage and Local Area Network technologies.
Maintenance and support of Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory.
Maintenance and support of client hardware, including roll‑out of new clients, upgrades and hardware repairs including network printers.
Ensure all IT security policies of the company are implemented and adhered to at all times.
Review and updating of all IT process documentation.
Maintenance of database software.
Perform system backups.
Gathering requirements and translating business needs into business solutions including technical recommendations.
Being a key contact on site for all IT related queries.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience with Windows 10/11, Storage, Oracle, SAN, Server 2008 / 2012, Exchange 2010 / 2013, VMware, Active Directory, Networking.
Good problem‑solving and communication skills.
Pharmaceutical experience is an advantage.
Education
A degree in Computer Science, BIS or related discipline is preferred.
