Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and lead on a wide range of planning applications
2. Write detailed planning reports and advise planning authorities
3. Manage multi-disciplinary project teams, stakeholder engagement, and budgets
4. Act as primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycles
5. Undertake research, desk studies, site visits, and planning assessments
6. Analyse planning policy and provide strategic recommendations
7. Liaise with planning authorities and statutory bodies
8. Mentor and support junior staff
9. Attend meetings with clients, project teams, and stakeholders

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:

* A minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in the public or private sector
* A recognised RTPI or IPI planning qualification
* Strong knowledge of the Irish planning system (UK experience also considered)
* Excellent report writing and project management skills
* A solution-focused approach and ability to meet project deadlines
* Confident communication and presentation skills
* Strong analytical and IT skills
* Highly motivated, ambitious, and capable of handling multiple projects
* Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams
* Full driving licence and access to own vehicle
