Role
A compelling opportunity awaits a skilled accounts assistant with a strong financial background to join a prominent global organization, particularly within their esteemed Financial Accounting and Outsourcing Services Division. This division, renowned for its excellence, is committed to aiding clients in streamlining their financial operations, attaining a deeper understanding of their financial standing and achievements, and maintaining compliance with evolving accounting and tax regulations.
Main Responsibilities
* Securing compliance with client and filing deadlines by meticulously planning, scheduling, and supervising individual client projects.
* Perform diverse tasks such as preparing management accounts, VAT returns (including VAT, VIES, and Intrastat Returns), creating statutory financial statements, conducting reconciliations, overseeing bookkeeping projects, leading secondment roles, participating in forecasting and budgeting, and engaging in ad hoc department projects.
* Supervise billing and fee management, encompassing budgeting and prompt invoice preparation.
* Ensure exemplary service delivery within stipulated timeframes and budget constraints.
* Contribute technical expertise and a solid grasp of diverse accounting standards, particularly emphasizing proficiency in FRS 102.
About you
* Preferred but not obligatory: Qualified ACA/ACCA
* Experienced senior accounts assistant in a professional services or industry setting (with 2+ years of experience).
* A driven individual with a passion for delivering exceptional client services and fostering team growth and development.
* Strong time management skills, proficient in meeting deadlines efficiently.
* A self-initiated, proactive individual who discerns when collaboration and seeking assistance are fitting in relevant contexts.
