Senior Financial Analyst Role
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Financial Analyst to drive business growth and strategic decision-making through insightful financial reporting.
About the Role:
1. Consolidate group accounts across Ireland and the US, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations, effective budgeting and forecasting, and timely reporting.
2. Oversee monthly financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflows), providing actionable insights for informed business decisions.
3. Prepare statutory and regulatory reports, manage annual report process, and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
4. Analyse complex financial data to assess group performance, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
5. Develop and enforce financial policies and internal controls, mitigating risks and ensuring operational efficiency.
6. Manage intercompany loans, interest calculations, and group-level accounting (e.g. investments, FX, provisions) to minimize costs and maximize returns.
7. Coordinate reporting deadlines, equity/funding reconciliations, and other financial activities to meet business needs.
8. Support ESG reporting and AIQ platform enhancements to stay ahead in a rapidly changing market.
9. Liaise with auditors, senior stakeholders, and other key partners to maintain strong relationships and achieve business objectives.
10. Collaborate with finance transformation teams on ad-hoc initiatives and projects to drive business innovation and excellence.
Required Skills:
* 5+ years' experience in financial accounting, analysis, and leadership.
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with advanced technical accounting skills.
* Expertise in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis to drive business outcomes.
* Strong leadership, communication, and project management capabilities to deliver results.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Experience in energy, renewables, or construction is highly valued.
