The Support Worker will assist individuals in participating in community-based activities, fostering independence, and enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include providing direct support, ensuring a safe and compassionate environment, and helping individuals navigate daily tasks and interactions within their community. The role emphasizes person-centered care, safeguarding, and effective communication with individuals and their families.Qualification requirements would be a minimum L5 in social care, healthcare or related fieldExperience desired in residential Social care, including working with young people with autism and disabilitiesStrong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities for effective interactions with clients, families, and colleaguesKnowledge of Safeguarding practices and commitment to ensuring client safetyCompassionate, patient, and dedicated approach to caregivingFlexibility to work combination of shift latterbs such as sleepovers, day shifts and live nights if required to suit the needs of the service
