A senior leadership role responsible for overseeing, enhancing and embedding the European Third-Party Risk Management framework. The position plays a key role in strengthening the control environment, ensuring regulatory compliance and improving the resilience of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development, implementation and ongoing management of the third-party risk management framework across Europe, ensuring alignment with global standards.Identify, assess and mitigate third-party risks, including the design and execution of control monitoring to evaluate effectiveness.Partner with key internal functions (e.g. procurement, risk, compliance) to ensure a robust and consistent approach to third-party oversight.Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business lines to support governance, oversight, and accountability.Identify control gaps and process weaknesses, proposing and implementing effective solutions to enhance the overall risk framework.Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, acting as a subject matter expert when engaging with regulators where required.Lead periodic control assessments and provide recommendations to improve control effectiveness and operational resilience.Promote collaboration across the three lines of defence, reducing duplication and improving efficiency.Experience & QualificationsSignificant experience in third-party risk management, operational risk, or a related discipline.Proven leadership experience within a risk or oversight function.Strong understanding of financial services operating models and business processes.Experience designing and implementing risk frameworks aligned to European regulatory expectations.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across a matrix organisation.Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach.High-level communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and senior leadership.Demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams, driving capability and best practice across the organisation.
