Project Manager - T&D Department (Nationwide) Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead major projects within their Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Department across Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Act as the client liaison from project initiation to handover, maintaining excellent working relationships with all stakeholders. Coordinate with internal management, design teams, and subcontractors to plan, track, and report on project delivery. Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety policies, codes of practice, and project-specific safety requirements. Manage project budgets, financial tracking, and cost control to meet predefined goals. Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while actively managing risks and developing mitigation plans. Lead and attend all project-related meetings with clients and internal teams. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and control key deliverables that impact timelines. Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure weekly meetings include training and safety reviews. Ensure site Quality Control audits are carried out in accordance with design specifications. Manage and allocate resources effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements: Trade or engineering qualification. 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager in electrical infrastructure or construction. Relevant Health & Safety certification (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely). Proven track record of delivering complex electrical substation projects. In-depth knowledge of PM methodologies and tools. High-level stakeholder and team management skills. Experience working on high voltage (HV) projects and strong understanding of engineering best practices. Strong IT literacy, especially MS Excel; awareness of BIM is a plus. Flexible and adaptable with excellent communication and leadership skills.
