We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all pharmaceutical manufacturing operations comply with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of safety and environmental protection.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders. As an EHS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of projects from initiation to closeout.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS. They will also possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the EHS team in providing support to internal teams where required, including day-to-day operations.
\
2. Support HAZOPs and Design Safety Review Incident investigation and close-out as required.
\
3. Assist the EHS team in completion of walkdowns and at handover stages.
\
4. Support the EHS team in the EHS management and execution of projects throughout project life cycle from initiation to closeout.
\
5. Assist the EHS team with contractor/vendor management, project schedule management and schedule development.
\
6. Assist with the development, documentation and implementation of safe systems of work for manufacturing and maintenance operations.
\
7. Support site investigations, identifying root cause and measures to prevent recurrence, risk management and action plans to mitigate risk.
\
8. Assist safety audits and to improve the site safety management systems.
\
9. Continuously implement strict adherence to safe working practices.
\
10. Work with cross-functional teams in a highly automated GMP production environment.
\
11. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science or Health & Safety or related Engineering discipline.
\
12. Minimum 5 years plus EHS experience, some of which within a Pharmaceutical / Biopharma manufacturing facility.
\
13. Excellent communication/organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
\
14. Good computer MS Office skills (PP, Word, Excel, etc).
