Title: EHS Manager Salary: €100k-€120k Location: Leinster (multi site) Description Our client is seeking an experienced EHS manager to join their busy logistics / waste management facilities across the Leinster region.
Responsibilities with include: Ensure compliance with all EPA licences, Waste Management Acts, and related environmental regulations.
Manage environmental monitoring, reporting, and permit renewals, and support ISO 14001 and sustainability initiatives.
Oversee health and safety systems in line with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.
Conduct risk assessments, site audits, and employee safety training to maintain a safe working environment.
Lead investigations into incidents and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Manage reporting, inspections, and documentation with the EPA, HSA, and local authorities.
Promote a strong EHS culture through leadership, coaching, toolbox talks, and staff engagement.
Requirements: Relevant third level Certificate qualification in Environmental Science, Occ H&S, Environmental Engineering or related discipline 6-8 years' EHS management experience - ideally within the waste management sector Thorough knowledge of current EHS legislation Professional certifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, IEMA) highly desirable Strong interpersonal and communication skills Skills: Compliance Health & Safety Occupational Health and Safety ehs Risk Assessment Safety Management Incident Investigation
