Job Overview
The Head Custodian position is a key role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our facilities. This individual will oversee the cleaning and maintenance of our buildings, ensuring they remain attractive, sanitary, and secure for students, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain a clean and organized environment by following established procedures and protocols.
* Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of facilities, including daily cleaning tasks, minor repairs, and special projects.
* Develop and implement a daily cleaning schedule to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper waste disposal and equipment maintenance.
* Order necessary materials and supplies within approved budgets.
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.
* Promote a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Valid Alabama driver's license required.
* Minimum 5 years relevant work experience preferred.

* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
