OverviewSenior Supervisor Disability SSTALH2606 Re-advertisementLocation: Tallaght, DublinContract type: Permanent Full-timeResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a team of social care staff, ensuring delivery of person-centered support in line with each individual’s PCP and care plan.Demonstrate leadership, place the needs of the person supported at the centre of all activities, and work with a focus on rights and needs of individuals with autism.Develop and manage team rosters and scheduling; chair and lead meetings as required; exercise initiative in day-to-day operations.QualificationsQualification required: Social Care/Studies or relevant 3rd level qualification at degree level (e.g., Social Work, Psychology) or a relevant qualification recognised by NARIC as Irish level 8.At least one year’s recent experience as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs.Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector.Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism.Proven ability to work on own initiative and demonstrated leadership skills.Fluent English and excellent communication skills.Experience at a similar level with responsibility for supervising/managing a team and managing team rota.Experience of leading/chairing meetings.Full, manual drivers licence essential.Closing date: 06/10/2025 12:00:00
