Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Bid Manager to join our clients team and oversee the bidding process for residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the residential construction industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Analyse project requirements and develop comprehensive bid proposals.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for bids.
Review bid documents and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and quotes.
Prepare and submit bids within specified deadlines.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and vendors.
Track and manage bid documentation and correspondence.
Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Bid Manager in the residential construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction bidding processes and practices.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bid management software.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
