Site Clerk
Location: Sligo
Our client is seeking an organised and proactive Site Clerk to join a busy project team in Sligo. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills while working alongside experienced professionals, with plenty of scope for career progression.
Role Overview:
You will play a key role in the smooth running of the site office, supporting the Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Health & Safety Officer. The role combines administration, coordination, and on-site support, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* General site administration, including data entry for BC(A)R, timesheets, and document uploads
* Maintain material and plant registers (owned and hired)
* Assist with ordering materials, plant, PPE, and site supplies
* Carry out site safety inductions and maintain induction records
* Assist with health & safety documentation, permits, and compliance tracking
* Process and file delivery tickets, test certificates, and technical submissions
* Support the snagging process, from sales liaison to handover
* Manage drawing registers (hard and soft copies) and ensure document control
* Track aftercare and snag resolution through all project stages
* Assist with site access control and housekeeping standards
* Coordinate ESG reporting requirements
Requirements:
* Qualification in Construction/Project Management (desirable)
* Previous experience in a Site Clerk, Site Administrator, or Document Controller role
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
