Network Security Engineer
This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and experience in network security. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting security solutions and technologies to protect our systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, destruction, modification, or disruption.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network security principles and practices, as well as experience with security tools and technologies. They will also be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and provide guidance on security best practices.

Responsibilities:
* Implement and support security solutions and technologies to protect our systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, destruction, modification, or disruption.
* Provide technical leadership and security guidance on security projects.
* Set security design guidelines, frameworks, and models.
* Work to identify new security issues and risks and develop mitigation plans.
* Help identify and document security objectives.
* Train and mentor members of the team.
* Build relationships and trust across the organization.
* Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies.
* Work to develop and interpret security policies and procedures.
* Lead the building, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise security tools/controls.
* Proactively seek solutions to mitigate risk and clearly communicate risks to appropriate stakeholders.
Requirements:
* 6+ years in Network Security/Cyber Security experience.
* Akamai Kona experience (training can be provided if required).
* Web proxy support experience.

Location:
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
