Administrative Assistant Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a temporary full-time contract. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide information and guidance to current and prospective students on course content, registration procedures, study commitments, credit requirements, and assessment schedules.
* Plan and manage the online learning timetable and course assessment schedule for a series of modules and programs, liaising with lecturers in relation to all aspects of program teaching requirements and planning & management of linked on-campus class-based examinations where necessary.
* Prepare marks for exam board meetings in association with course lecturers, including all administrative duties in relation to compilation of provisional results for Programmes Boards, working directly with the Examinations Office in relation to broadsheets and preparation of examination results for Summer and Autumn exam boards.
Requirements:
* Excellent administrative, planning, and organizational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* An empathetic and sensitive approach to working with non-traditional/mature students.
* Capable of working unsupervised on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft suite, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Knowledge of Canvas (Virtual Learning Environment) and CRM Recruit would be desirable.
