The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years' experience working as an OCA and hold a qualified RGN (Registered General Nurse) designation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Delivery of Occupational Health Services: Provide high-quality services in a timely and professional manner to the team.
* First Aider Coordination: Coordinate First Aiders, Fire Safety Officers, and Mental Health First Responders for the business. Conduct risk assessments to ensure adequate First Aiders onsite at any given time.
* Facilities and Fire Safety Collaboration: Collaborate with facilities and fire safety officers to carry out fire drills at least twice per year.
* Ergonomics Programme Oversight: Oversee the ergonomics programme for the business and order specialized equipment as required.
* New Joiner Induction: Complete health & safety induction training with all new joiners.
* Health & Safety Training: Collaborate with the learning department on arranging appropriate health & safety training.
* Safety Statement and Policies: Review and update safety statement, standard operating procedures, and relevant health & safety policies on an annual basis.
* Hazard Identification: Identify any hazards in the working environment and make recommendations to managers regarding compliance with current legislation and best practice.
* Wellbeing Education: Develop and participate in proactive wellbeing education and awareness initiatives designed to inform and educate the team.
* Casework Management: Provide case management of short, medium, and long-term absenteeism and give advice as appropriate using internal occupational health systems.
* Data Management: Manage the retention of Occupational Health data as per GDPR guidelines.
* Pregnancy Risk Assessments: Assess Pre-employment questionnaires and complete pregnancy risk assessments in an efficient and timely manner.
* Referrals to Occupational Health Physicians: Manage referrals to third-party occupational health physicians as required.
* Health & Safety Advice: Advise on Health & Safety when required and follow-up on all workplace accidents or incidents.
* Professional Development: Keep up-to-date on new developments, legislative changes, and best practice in the area of occupational health.
* Additional Duties: Carry out other OH duties that may arise, in consultation with the HR Manager.
