Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Officer located at 88 South Circular Road, Portobello, Dublin 8. The Logistics Officer will be responsible for dealing with shipping matters, promptly, competently and knowledgeably with accuracy and a logical mind. This will include, preparing and presenting all relevant documents and if necessary, customs documents, for shipments in order that our shipments arrive complete and on time. Ensure compliance with customs, import/export, and safety regulations, and prepare reports on shipping activities, costs, and performance metrics. Implement process improvements to optimize logistics efficiency. Vital attributes of our successful candidate include a strong understanding of international logistics, excellent communication skills with a positive collaborative manner, the capacity to work with our NFI team, and the ability to get the job done.
Qualifications
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with an ability to multitask under pressure.
* Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
* Team player with a positive attitude and a results driven mindset.
* Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
* 3rd level education in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management, business or related studies.
* Computer literacy in Microsoft products (experience on Business Central 365 is a plus).
