Gourmet Food Parlour have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic, ambitious and experienced Commis chef to join our restaurant team in our City Centre location, within the Arnott's department store.
This is a great opportunity for innovative individuals to bring forward their experience and skills and shine through the food and service they present.

The ideal candidate must
Have a minimum 1 year experience in a busy kitchen
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Be interested in latest food trends and enjoy creating new dishes
Pay attention to detail and have great presentation skills
Be able to run own section and work to order and coordinate with timings
Engage with and understand our management and floor team responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
Prepare food to standard recipes and/or customized to meet our customers' requirements
Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift as required.
Requirements
HACCP trained to level 2 minimum
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality food products, meeting HACCP guidelines and store safety and security
Comply with a strict dress and personal hygiene code that meets HACCP guidelines
