Senior Mechanical Engineer - Dublin
A well-established multi-disciplinary engineering company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
We seek individuals with well-rounded knowledge of building services systems and who have worked in a consultancy role in Ireland or UK previously.
This role is based in Dublin.
We are looking for a candidate with relevant working experience in Ireland.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Strong technical ability and good understanding of current engineering standards (Building Regulations, CIBSE/BSRIA Guides, IS / EN Standards).
Experience in the design and specification of mechanical / building services systems (drainage, water services, heating, cooling, ventilation and controls).
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of an engineering team.
Minimum Third level degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.
3 years+ experience in a similar role.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Engineering design and management of tasks on projects as part of an integrated project team.
Design and specification of mechanical engineering solutions to current regulations and design standards.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE ASSISTING WITH THE FOLLOWING
Working directly with clients to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
Working as part of a project design team.
Pre-construction engineering activities including coordination of services and production of information (tender drawings, schematics, specifications and equipment details).
Monitoring and management of projects during construction including site inspections, technical submittals and RFI's.
