Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in the acute care setting.
Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and facilitating discharge.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care delivery.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation and adaptive techniques.
Participate in case conferences and contribute to the development of care plans.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with hospital policies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current registration with CORU
Must have at least 1 full years' experience working as an Occupational Therapist in acute hospital settings, particularly in General Medical and Surgical wards.
Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
