As a key member of our operations team, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient operation of equipment, plant, and property to maximise production output.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all maintenance activities on site, managing internal teams, contractors, and external maintenance providers.
* Develop and execute plans for repair and installation tasks, ensuring compliance with established maintenance processes and procedures.
* Achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for plant availability, effectiveness, and costs.
* Promote best practices and lead continuous improvement projects focused on equipment performance.
* Ensure that all maintenance work meets Health & Safety and Quality requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess sound mechanical and electrical knowledge of equipment, including refrigeration systems, conveyer belts, and packaging machinery.
Previous experience of managing and leading maintenance teams, preferably in a manufacturing environment, is essential.
This role requires strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and high attention to detail.
