Job Title: Part-Time Financial Controller Location: Onsite (1-2 days per week) Employment Type: Part-Time (1-2 days per week) About the Role We are seeking a Part-Time Financial Controller to take ownership of the financial operations of their company.
This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a dynamic and flexible team environment.
As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the business, ensuring robust financial controls, delivering key reports, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Full ownership and management of the accounting function.
Preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet, P&L, full analysis, and board commentary.
Organise, attend, report at, and minute quarterly board meetings.
Organise, attend, report at, and minute weekly management team meetings.
Oversee bank management, including loan applications and liaising with account managers.
Management of a multi-currency environment, including forecasts and cashflows.
Oversight of the debtors and creditors ledgers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Managing cut-off procedures for all sales and purchase transactions.
Project accounting, ensuring financial oversight of company initiatives.
Lead the annual budgeting process.
Develop and implement KPIs to track key financial metrics and P&L performance.
Preparation and ongoing management of cash flow forecasts.
Key Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Experience using SAGE software or a similar ERP system.
Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
Experience working within a flexible and dynamic team.
Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
High attention to detail and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
