The IT Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and optimizing the daily operations of the IT teams. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality support services, drives operational efficiency, and maintains exceptional user satisfaction across the organization.
Minimum Requirements
* Proven experience in IT support, service desk or System Administration (Cloud Services)
* Minimum of two years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
* ITIL certification or equivalent experience in Service Management or Governance.
* Skilled in IT service management tools and platforms. (Atlassian Suite or similar)
* Strong grasp of ITIL frameworks and industry best practices.
Role and Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT personnel responsible for onsite IT Support, Cloud Service and System Administration, including outsourced services at Level 3.
* Oversee shift scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
* Foster professional growth through training and development initiatives.
* Supervise the resolution of service requests and incidents in collaboration with Global Support.
* Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
* Monitor and uphold service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Identify and implement enhancements to service desk operations.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and procedures.
* Champion a customer‑centric approach to IT.
* Communicate effectively with users to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.
* Track and analyze performance metrics.
* Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership.
