Legal Secretary / Assistant
The Role:
Our client, a leading & reputable legal practice, based in Limerick city, are now looking to hire a Legal Secretary to join their team to assist with the ongoing growth of their business.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare and type various documents, correspondence, legal submissions etc.
Manage the filing system for the relevant solicitors including indexing material, identifying, and opening new files, scanning efficient retrieval of files on a day-to-day basis.
Work efficiently using own initiative, take responsibility without direction, and use discretion at times.
Perform general office administration duties as required always using your own initiative and prioritising tasks accordingly and always ensuring confidentiality.
Meet and greet clients in a courteous, professional manner.
Ad hoc duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications required:
You will ideally have 2+ years experience working in a busy legal environment.
High speed in typing and accuracy are essential.
Dictaphone typing skills are desirable.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise confidently with people internally & externally.
Ability to use discretion and initiative.
Excellent attention to detail.
Offer:
This is a full-time permanent role, based on site in our client's offices in Limerick city.
The salary range is commensurate with skills & experience but is expected to be in the €40k-€45k per annum range plus benefits package.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
