The role of a Operations Manager is critical in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of a busy visitor site. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the site, with a focus on service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include managing rotas, training and team support, as well as ensuring compliance with food safety, health and safety, and visitor care standards. The Operations Manager will also play a key role in planning and delivering events, group bookings and seasonal activities.
As a senior member of the operations team, you will have a high level of autonomy and be expected to take ownership of your work area, making decisions and solving problems independently. You will also be responsible for providing reporting and feedback to senior operations team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a similar operations or senior management role within hospitality, catering or facilities services;
* Strong leadership, people management, and delegation skills;
* Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume food service or soft service operations across a large site or multi-outlet location;
* Proficient in budgeting, reporting, and inventory/stock management;
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
