This position holds significant importance in our commitment to expanding our service offerings to a broad spectrum of mining clients, both domestically and internationally.As part of our closely-knit team, we will help you develop your skills to provide day-to-day guidance, oversight, and assistance, as well as undertaking more complex analysis, on a variety of interesting projects.This position will be based based from our Dublin office.With support from senior colleagues, initial duties and responsibilities will include:Supervision of mineral resource drilling programmes and geological core loggingPlanning procurement and management of ground investigations and preparation of factual and interpretative reportsUndertaking routine quarry inspections, aggregate sampling and sample managementGenerating and manging geological / geotechnical databases;Petrographic analyses, thin section microscopy, and preparation of technical reportsSample management and logistics logisticsReviewing, interpreting and reporting the results of routine aggregate analysis; andPreparing geological Conceptual Site Models.About YouWe are looking for a hard-working team player with a degree in geological science and a desire to build a career in the mining and resource extraction sector.You Will Also HaveExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenStrong project co-ordination skillsComputer literate with experience using Microsoft Office productsAbility to work in a collaborative team environment but also to demonstrate independence in completing work tasksWillingness to learn how to use modelling packagesDue to site-based travel requirements, afull driving licenceis essential for this position.
