Our clients include some of the worlds best known international logistics companies as well as grocery and cosmetic brands.Description:We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced day time Van Driver for multi drop offs and pick up in Galway city and county. This person will be required to assist HGV drivers in the break down and checking in of goods in wholesalers and supermarkets in Galway city at the start of each day. Afterwards they will carry out their own deliveries given to them by the HGV driver. The van will be based at the driver's place of residence in Galway.Hours: 6:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday, No weekendsResponsibilities:Work collaboratively with our HGV drivers in the delivery, break down and checking in of goods to supermarkets and wholesalers.Safely and efficiently operate a van for multi drop delivery.Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods while adhering to delivery schedules.Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during interactions with customers.Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.Present the van for periodic inspections, testing and maintenance at our depot in Carrick on Shannon.Have customers sign and document any discrepancies or issues with delivery paperwork.Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.Requirements:Must be over 25 years old for insurance purposes.Valid driver's licence (Category B).Be available for a day time shift.Excellent driving record with no driving violations.Good communication skills and customer service-oriented attitude.What's in it for you?Competitive SalaryNo weekend workNo commute costs as the van is based at drivers residenceThis position offers competitive compensation.
