Senior Technical Specialist in Medical Equipment Management
Job Description:
The successful candidate will have a central role in the development of clinical engineering within Beaumont Hospital. Key responsibilities include managing and providing technical support for electro medical equipment services, leading the development of Clinical Engineering PPPGs and KPIs, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A recognised qualification at National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), Level 7 or higher, in an engineering discipline such as Electronic, Electrical, Instrument Physics, Industrial Instrumentation, Applied Physics, Mechanical, Mechtronic, or Biomedical Engineering.
* A minimum of five years postgraduate satisfactory and relevant experience in an appropriate medical industrial field including at least three years in a clinical engineering environment.
