Waterford. As a valued member of the team, you will be essential to the success of our business by providing customers with a first‑class experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive the commercial performance of the Garden Centre, maximising sales across all product categoriesOversee stock management, including ordering, rotation and replenishment, to ensure availability, quality and a fresh, seasonal offeringLead the presentation of all Garden Centre displays, ensuring they are visually appealing, well‑merchandised and maintained to a high standard at all timesSupport overall branch standards and performance in collaboration with the Branch ManagerDeliver a consistently high standard of customer service, ensuring a fast, efficient and friendly experience for all customersBuild strong customer relationships and provide expert advice on horticultural products and servicesMaintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product ranges, seasonal trends and customer needsIdentify opportunities to improve and develop the Garden Centre offering and contribute to wider branch performanceLead, motivate and support team members to achieve high performance and maintain excellent service standardsEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety requirements at all timesMaintain excellent housekeeping standards across all areas of responsibilityKey RequirementsA recognised qualification in Horticulture or a related disciplineMinimum of 3 years’ relevant experience within a retail Garden Centre environmentStrong knowledge of, and genuine passion for, the retail gardening and horticulture industryProven ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environmentExcellent planning, organisational and prioritisation skillsCustomer‑focused approach with a friendly, engaging manner and a commitment to exceeding customer expectationsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationshipsProven experience leading, motivating and developing a teamExperience in demand planning, stock control and ordering, with a strong commercial awarenessA collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and take initiativeCommitment to Diversity & InclusionTirlán embraces diversity, equal opportunity and inclusion.
