Job Opportunity: Lead Health and Safety Expert for Complex Rail Project
RINA seeks an exceptional professional to oversee the health, safety, and welfare plan for a significant rail transformation project in Ireland. This is a key leadership role that requires expertise in managing complex infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 15 years of experience in health and safety, with at least 7+ years specializing in major infrastructure projects;
* Demonstrable expertise in developing comprehensive HSE solutions across complex construction or engineering programs;
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating contractors' work procedures and access control measures; monitoring worker certifications; developing emergency response plans; conducting regular site audits; enforcing corrective actions based on these findings.
The leader should have strong knowledge about Safety & Health Compliance Regulations, successful Leadership Experience ,and broad understanding of HSSE concepts within diverse stakeholder environments. Furthermore, having ISO45001 Knowledge would be advantageous along with relevant qualification such as degree,diploma. Ideally you are an Irish citizen or have right to permanent residence.
