Senior Manager, Management Consulting (Health & Life Sciences)
At KPMG, we unite a diverse team dedicated to turning insight into opportunities for clients and communities worldwide. Our Management Consulting practice in The Bahamas seeks a Senior Manager to drive operational improvement, care system redesign, digital health, and workforce engagements in the area of Healthcare & Life Sciences. This role involves direct collaboration with senior leadership and clients across the Healthcare industry and broader KPMG Islands Group, addressing critical challenges and enhancing service levels.
Responsibilities:
Working with senior KPMG leaders to enhance and working cross-functionally within the Management Consulting practice to integrate the full health and life sciences service offerings:

Operational Excellence
Digital Health
Care System Redesign (large scale transformation such as policy, shared services, organizational redesign / restructuring, etc.)
Healthcare system strengthening & Universal Health Coverage (UHC)
Climate health & ESG in island jurisdictions
Workforce / Human resources for health in island settings
Advanced Analytics

Support clients to realize and achieve strategic objectives through potential initiatives such as:

Cost-Optimization / Cost Take-Out
Clinical operational service delivery reviews, care models & pathway design in island healthcare
Health services and systems planning
Workforce optimization
Clinical Program reviews and assessment
Clinical Process Redesign across the care continuum
Care transformation through digital strategy and enablement
Digital ecosystem and infrastructure modernization
Clinical Information System implementation support and assurance
Leadership, learning & development

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare, business, management, operations, or related field
Minimum of 8-10 years relevant experience in healthcare and life sciences operational excellence, management consulting, strategy, or policy development
Healthcare operations experience in roles such as health informatics, health administration, clinical program management, policy development, or clinical experience

Skills:

Strong knowledge of healthcare systems in Island Jurisdictions, including policies, technologies, and service delivery models
Experience with operations improvement, clinical workflows, and processes
LEAN, Six Sigma, and process redesign experience
Strong Project and Program management experience
Data analytics experience
Team leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation skills
Comfort working with executive healthcare leaders, including C-suites
Ability to manage projects, analyze large datasets, and make data-driven decisions
Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and financial skills
Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure
