 
        
        Regional High Harm Policy Manager, DACH - Trust & Safety
Our Trust & Safety team is committed to keeping the TikTok community safe. We heavily invest in human and machine‑based moderation to remove harmful content quickly, often before it reaches the broader community. The Policy team develops and reviews community policies to promote a positive and safe environment for all users and content creators.
Responsibilities
 * Develop, analyze, and continuously update policy documentation tailored to the DACH markets, leveraging regional insights while aligning with TikTok’s global Trust & Safety standards.
 * Design and implement enforcement strategies addressing high‑harm content areas, including Hateful Behavior, Violent Behavior and Dangerous Actors, Mental Health, Integrity & Authenticity, and Human Exploitation.
 * Serve as the primary Policy contact for the DACH region, leading the response to content safety issues and escalations.
 * Build and maintain strong cross‑functional partnerships with senior regional stakeholders and teams across Product, Operations, Legal, Public Policy, and Public Relations to drive consensus and evolve content policies.
 * Monitor emerging social media trends, user behaviors, and regulatory developments in the DACH region to proactively inform policy design and ensure alignment with TikTok’s Community Guidelines.
Qualifications
 * Proven experience in policy development, enforcement, or public policy within technology, social media, or content moderation environments.
 * Strong knowledge of the DACH region, with fluency in both German and English to effectively engage with regional stakeholders and global teams.
 * Keen interest in the intersection of technology, media, and cultural trends, with a deep understanding of their implications for content safety and user wellbeing.
 * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex policy concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
 * Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgment and maintain composure when navigating high‑pressure, ambiguous situations, with a track record of thoughtful, data‑informed decision‑making.
Preferred Qualifications
 * Data‑driven mindset with experience using qualitative or quantitative insights to inform policy decisions and measure impact.
 * Proven experience specifically within Trust and Safety in a technology or social media environment.
 * Strong self‑starter mentality with the ability to independently identify challenges, drive solutions, and take ownership of complex policy issues.
