We are on the lookout for a kitchen staff member to join our team in our Galway store
Candidates must be fully flexible and available to work a range of shifts between 10:30am and 22:30pm, Monday to Sunday.
Duties include:
* Food Preparation: Ensuring the kitchen is prepared for service each day. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and storing food items.
* Cooking Support: Cooking and preparing dishes according to the company recipe book and quality standards. Reading order dockets and preparing food in a timely manner, and in accordance with customers' preferences, if applicable.
* Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
* Inventory Management: Help in monitoring inventory levels in order to ensure you always have adequate supplies, receiving deliveries, and storing food supplies, ensuring that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption.
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices. Preventing cross-contamination and following HACCP procedures.
* Equipment Maintenance: Ensure kitchen equipment is clean and in good working condition, reporting any issues to the Kitchen Manager.
* Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen and floor staff team to ensure timely and efficient service.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* HACCP qualification.
* Working knowledge of Food Safety regulations.
* Previous grill experience is necessary.

Pay from €13.50 per hour Monday - Saturday, €14.00 per hour on Sundays. Tips divided between staff each week.
