Job Title: Early Years Specialist
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supporting early years provision through a range of activities including on-site visits, modelling, mentoring and coaching. They will be able to demonstrate substantial knowledge and understanding of early learning and care.
* Provide advice and support to early learning and care settings in areas such as inclusion of children with disabilities, governance issues and advising on how to build effective partnerships with parents and the wider community.
* Review, monitor, maintain efficient and effective administrative and information systems.
* Participate in external evaluation of the service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience of working in early learning and care settings, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Ability to provide mentoring and coaching services.
* Experience of delivering education and training programs to adults.
