Our client, a leading university, is seeking an experienced and highly professional Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Executive Dean. This is a key role within the Facultys professional support team, offering the opportunity to work at senior level within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Executive Dean, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive PA and administrative support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Deans Office while contributing to wider Faculty activities. Key responsibilities include: Managing a complex diary and scheduling high-level meetings in a fast-changing environment Acting as first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, triaging and responding to queries Coordinating communications with key university departments (Finance, HR, Estates, ISS) Organising senior meetings and events, including agendas, minutes and logistics Managing office operations, supplies and documentation (physical and digital) Overseeing financial administration, including invoices, expenses and budget tracking Supporting international engagement, including travel coordination and hosting delegations Assisting with reporting, quality review processes and special Faculty projects Providing broader administrative support to the Faculty Support Unit as required The ideal candidate will have: Leaving Certificate (NFQ Level 5) with 5+ years relevant experience, or a Primary Degree (NFQ Level 7) with 2+ years experience Previous experience supporting a senior executive Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills High levels of discretion, judgement and professionalism Strong IT proficiency and data/reporting capability Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and confident PA who thrives in a senior-facing, high-responsibility role.
