Job Title: Intern In Small Animal Internal Medicine We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Intern to join our team in Small Animal Internal Medicine. The successful candidate will assist with consultations, diagnostic investigations, and care of animals under the direct supervision of residents and senior clinicians in the speciality. The Small Animal Medicine service handles mainly referral internal medicine cases, and a very small number of first opinion cases. The intern will be an integral member of the team, working closely with residents, senior clinicians, nurses and other support staff to provide high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include: 1. Assisting with consultations for referred patients; 2. Participating in diagnostic investigations including laboratory tests, imaging studies etc. The selected candidate must be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining strong communication skills with colleagues at all levels within the hospital. Knowledge or experience in veterinary specific procedures is desirable but not essential as comprehensive training can be provided by experienced professionals on site..
