Eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a Security Analyst. This is a day contract position, of initial duration of 6 months (with multiple possible extensions) located with our client in Dublin. This is a hybrid role, requiring 1-2 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities:
* Working closely with various IT teams (Service team, GITT teams) in a hybrid work environment.
* Monitor the cyber support mailbox and bring items to closure on a day-to-day basis.
* Support various business functions on reviewing and sign off of new software applications.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.
* Conduct vulnerability scans and assessments using Qualys.
* Support pen test remediation activity.
* Run PAM and UAM audits monthly.
* Support the running of phishing campaigns.
* Monitoring and reporting on patching remediation.
* Proficiency in conducting risk assessments.
* Participate in security-related projects such as system upgrades and the implementation of new technologies.
* Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring swift resolution and documentation.
* Assist in the development and execution of security policies and procedures.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in IT security and working as a cyber security analyst.
* Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
* Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security protocols.
* Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys.
* Knowledge of cloud security in environments like AWS and Azure.
* Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are desirable.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 1G/4 Visa to apply.
