Job Title: Theatrical Nursing Care Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nursing professional to join our theatre department as a Theatrical Nursing Care Specialist. This role will involve providing high-quality, patient-centred care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* To work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients before, during and after surgery.
* To develop and maintain good relationships with all members of the healthcare team, including surgeons, anaesthetists and other nurses.
Clinical Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, including the ability to assess patients' needs quickly and accurately. They should be able to administer medication safely and effectively, and have knowledge of wound care techniques. Additionally they must have experience in pre-operative assessment using ECG machines or any blood test devices outside their domain( e.g pulse oximeters etc.), Venepuncture (intravenous therapy), Post-Operative Complications management etc..
