This exceptional care is delivered in day services.
This role is Monday to Friday – 35 hours per week
About the role:
QQI Level 5 qualification in healthcare or a relevant field (Full award) is essentialTrain the Trainer is essentialFull Manual Drivers license is essential and access to your own transport is essential.Fluency in verbal and written English is an essential requirement of this post.The successful Candidate must have experience of managing and supervising a staff team and be up to date with current policy and legislation relevant to intellectual disability service.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
2-3 years Supervisory experience in a similar environment, Intellectual Disability sector is preferredExperience working with people who have complex needs and a diagnosis of ASDCommunity based support experienceAbility to develop and implement person centred programmesWorking Knowledge of New Direction and the associated auditing frameworkExperience in education, day services is an advantageExcellent organisation and planning skillsAbility to co-ordinate timetables, activities and plans based on the needs of people we support.The successful candidate will, on occasion be required to demonstrate flexibility in their hours of work to support people with social events.
