The role of Duty Manager is a key position within our organization.
1. Service Delivery & Team Leadership
* Deliver exceptional guest experiences through personalized service and proactive issue resolution.
* Lead the team to achieve operational excellence, ensuring seamless delivery of hotel services.
* Conduct regular audits to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across all areas.
* Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and confidence.
2. Operational Effectiveness
* Oversee daily operations, prioritizing tasks to optimize efficiency and productivity.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement effective strategies.
* Monitor and address any discrepancies in service delivery, ensuring prompt resolution.
3. Facility Maintenance & Safety
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure the building and surrounding areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
* Ensure fire exits remain clear and functional, reporting any concerns immediately.
* Lead the team during emergency situations, maintaining a calm and controlled environment.
* Oversee the upkeep of back-of-house spaces, ensuring they remain clean and organized.
4. Communication & Documentation
* Attend meetings and briefings to discuss business needs, special requests, and outstanding issues.
* Develop and maintain accurate documentation, including reports, logs, and records.
* Ensure a smooth handover process, communicating essential information to the next shift leader.
5. Team Development & Engagement
* Support staff during peak periods, demonstrating a hands-on and approachable leadership style.
* Contribute to ongoing training and coaching, enhancing team members' skills and knowledge.
* Promote a positive and inclusive team culture, fostering motivation and engagement.
