Job Title: Quad and Lawnmower Salesperson Location: County Meath, Ireland €40,000 + Commission Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Salesperson to join our team in County Meath, specialising in the sales of quads (ATVs), ride-on and push lawnmowers, and related equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail or machinery sales, excellent customer service skills, and a genuine interest in outdoor power equipment and farming machinery.
Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in selecting suitable quads, lawnmowers, and accessories based on their needs.
Demonstrate product features and benefits with technical accuracy and clarity.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to promote repeat business.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the latest product models, financing options, and industry trends.
Process sales transactions and related paperwork accurately.
Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers when necessary.
Ensure the showroom is clean, well-organised, and stocked with current models and promotional material.
Coordinate with the service department for product setup, delivery, and after-sales support.
Attend trade shows, product launches, and training sessions as required.
Key Requirements: Proven experience in machinery, vehicle, or equipment sales (experience with quads, lawnmowers, or agricultural machinery is an advantage).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand technical specifications and explain them in layman's terms.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Full, clean driving licence.
Basic computer skills for managing sales records and inventory.
Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours during peak seasons.
Desirable: Familiarity with brands like Honda, Yamaha, Husqvarna, John Deere, or similar.
Background in farming, landscaping, or outdoor machinery.
Knowledge of the local market and rural customer needs in County Meath and surrounding areas.
