Head Chef for a busy GastroBar in Cork City. Our client is a high-profile property in a central location. We are currently recruiting an experienced Head Chef to join the management team.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the kitchen and personnel, ensuring high standards in food preparation.
* Coordinate roster scheduling, manage labour costs, assist with recruitment, and oversee staff performance.
* Work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, controlling service during peak periods. Extensive bar food and bistro-style experience required.
* Prioritise, organise, delegate tasks, and oversee staff performance with prompt follow-up.
* Implement and document HACCP standards efficiently, minimise food and energy wastage.
Requirements:
* Current legal status to live and work in Ireland.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role as Head Chef.
* Available to start immediately. In-person interviews will be conducted at the premises.
