ICT Project Manager
Location : Hybrid working Model: The role will be primarily based off-site.
However, on- site attendance will be required at Ballina- Mayo, twice a month, and occasional attendance may also be required at Galway and Dublin
Duration : 12+ months contract – Highly extendable
Key Responsibilities
1. Be responsible for Project Management deliverables/ milestones of the Lifecycle including preparing a Project Initiation Document, setting a Baseline, managing RAID, financial tracking, benefits tracking, issuing project communications, managing project resources and implementing change control
2. Co-ordinating project lifecycle documents across various competencies (ICT, Data, Design Authority and Business), including ensuring a Business Case is prepared by the Business, approved by Senior Leadership and adhered to by the project team
3. Drive alignment with the approved business case and other key project governance documents throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring scope, benefits, planning, and delivery remain consistent with agreed objectives
4. Deliver strong and robust project plans to ensure successful delivery of large Technical and Transformation projects/ programmes of work on scope time and budget
5. Day to day project management of projects, including effective interaction with project stakeholders and project team members
6. Building relationships with all stakeholders involved in the project and maintain effective team communication (verbal & written) and cooperation for successful project completion
7. Monitoring progress of project teams relative to goals, deliverables and milestones
8. Producing high quality and accurate written reports
9. Co-ordinating, facilitating and scheduling project meetings
10. Drive third parties to deliver on project plans
11. Ensure resource availability and allocation
12. Ensure quality gates & processes are in place and achieved
13. Proactively find solutions to project challenges
14. Manage Project Closure and participates in Business Realisation Review
15. Actively participant in Project Management Office and bring ideas and take action to implement continuous improvement
16. A recognised project management qualification similar to PMP, Prince 2, IPMA, Scrum, etc.
17. Experience of managing various Technical and Transformation projects/ programmes simultaneously and independently, using formal project management methodologies
18. Experience of engaging with a range of stakeholders, escalating risks/ issues and reporting to the Senior Leadership team
19. Experience in prioritising and assigning resources using both internal and external delivery partners
Desirable skills :
20. Experience using a project lifecycle and Stage Gate framework is desirable
21. Experience with a Portfolio and Project Management system is desirable
22. Experience working in an Agile Framework as Scrum Master is desirable
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
