Panel for Clerical Officer Grade III Roles Full Time Hours Only, Permanent /Temporary Contracts.

Mercy University Hospital Cork are looking to recruit Permanent, Full Time Clerical Officers for various departments.These roles will report into the Administrative Services Manager, Administrative Support Manager or Healthcare Records Manager as appropriate.
Areas include Emergency Department, Laboratories, Medical Records/Admission, Nursing Admin, Outpatients, Bed Management Unit, Ward Clerks and Medical Secretaries.
Some roles may include shift work/weekends or working off site at MUCC.
Responsibilities include: Clerical administrative support to include processes as defined for each of the departments and may include dealing with patients and their families over the phone or in person.
Eligibility Criteria - Candidates: Applicants must be available for a minimum contract commitment of 6 months.
Systems experience, such as iPMS, is desirable.
Excellent MS Word and MS Excel computer skills typing test may form part of the assessment.
Previous administrative experience of at least 1 year is essential.
Excellent Communication, Organisational and Time Management skills.
Ability to work on ones own initiative or in a team environment.
Relevant business/administrative course is desirable.
