DepartmentInternational OfficeVacancy ID041983Closing Date03-Jun-2026 (23:30hrs local Irish time)Position OverviewWe are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as the Arqus Alliance Project Officer for the Arqus European University Alliance, in collaboration with partner universities including University Claude Bernard Lyon 1, University of Granada, University of Graz, Leipzig University, University of Minho, University of Padua, Vilnius University, and the University of Wrocław.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop enhanced and strategic partnerships among Maynooth University stakeholders via the Arqus Alliance.Maximise the benefits of MU’s membership in the Arqus Alliance by facilitating mutually beneficial strategic partnerships for all stakeholders.Report to the Arqus Alliance Manager and work effectively within a small, busy team.Utilise own initiative and demonstrate strong team collaboration skills.Engage in international travel across the eight other Arqus Alliance members in Europe.Required QualificationsStrong awareness of international education and intercultural matters.Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and to use initiative independently.Salary and AppointmentAdministrative Officer II (2026): €46,918 – €66,464 p.a. (9 points).
