The successful candidate will work closely with the Douglas team and play a critical role in delivering automation expertise across the Mayo based site.This role is focused on implementation and coordination, not cybersecurity design. While some exposure to cybersecurity is beneficial, the primary requirement is strong experience managing automation, OT, IT, and vendor activities in live manufacturing environments. A solid understanding of industrial networks is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and drive site-level execution of the approved network segmentation architectureDevelop and manage a detailed implementation plan covering applications, PLCs, infrastructure, validation, change windows and rollback strategiesIdentify and coordinate all impacted systems, including:Manufacturing applicationsPLC logic and communicationsHistorians, MES, OEE and reporting platformsERP and external system interfacesWork cross-functionally with Automation, IT, OT, vendors and application owners to define, resource and schedule required changesEnsure PLC updates, configuration changes and infrastructure modifications are properly captured, reviewed and implementedCoordinate testing, validation and cutover activities while minimising production impactManage dependencies, risks and constraints across multiple parallel workstreamsControl change management processes including approvals, documentation and execution sequencingAct as the on-site coordination lead during implementation windows affecting live operationsEnsure alignment with cybersecurity and compliance requirements (without owning technical security design)Maintain clear status reporting, action tracking and stakeholder communicationCapture lessons learned and contribute to the development of repeatable standards for future segmentation rolloutsRequired Experience & SkillsDemonstrated project management experience within industrial, manufacturing, or automation environmentsSolid understanding of industrial control systems and OT network architectureProven track record coordinating cross-functional teams across Automation, IT, OT and external vendorsExperience delivering complex, site-based projects within live production settingsStrong capability in planning, risk management, dependency mapping and structured change controlExcellent communication skills with the ability to manage and influence key stakeholders
