ProSource Group are seeking an Electrical Project Design Engineer on behalf of one of Irelands leading multidisciplinary consultancies. This is a Dublin-based position.This role offers exposure to a wide range of projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare education & residential sectors. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic team player with experience in electrical building services design.Key Responsibilities:Carry out detailed design calculations for:Power distributionLighting and emergency lightingFire alarm systemsSecurity and access controlData and general servicesMechanical power and control systemsPrepare schematic and layout drawings using AutoCAD (2D) and/or Revit (3D).Create schedules, data sheets, and technical specifications.Assist in cost estimation and preparation of technical reports.Conduct site surveys and support project delivery from initial concept through to handover.Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.Assist with the preparation of contract documentation and new business proposals as needed.Requirements:Degree qualification (Level 7 or 8) in Electrical Engineering or related field.Demonstrated experience in electrical building services design (Ideally 3+ years with an Irish consultancy).Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant design software.Ability to take direction from senior staff and work collaboratively.Strong attention to detail and communication skills.What's on Offer:€55,000 - €62,000 DOE + package.Involvement in high-profile, technically complex projects.Hybrid working and flexible hours to support work-life balance.Pension + Health Insurance.Exposure to senior leadership with excellent progression opportunities.Active support for professional development and external learning (EI/CIBSE).To find out more information, please contact Conor Lucey of ProSource Group at or for a confidential discussion or apply now.ProSource Group is a specialist Irish recruitment company whose primary focus is recruiting within the Construction & Engineering industries throughout Ireland, Europe & North America.
