Defence Insurance Claims Specialist
The role of Defence Insurance Claims Specialist is an excellent opportunity to join a multi-award-winning firm's defence insurance team in Belfast. As a member of the team, you will work with clients nationally and have access to a range of learning and development opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assisting and handling a varied caseload, including acting on behalf of insurance companies and self-insured commercial organisations.
* Carrying out investigations, taking witness statements, reviewing medical records and medical reports.
* Securing documentation/evidence from Plaintiff's representatives and adhering to reporting and reserving requirements.
* Attending court and pre-trial meetings, and drafting legal documents and client advice.
* Supporting Partners in servicing existing clients, growing new business and maintaining relationships.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in personal injury litigation, preferably with experience in defence insurance claims.
* Determination, adaptability, and ability to handle complex legal issues.
* Focused on delivering a highly professional service to clients.
