Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeper Job Description
* Ensure accurate and timely preparation of Value Added Tax (VAT) returns, adhering to relevant regulations and deadlines.
* Process and manage PAYE/PRSI calculations and submissions, including year-end returns, ensuring compliance with all necessary guidelines.
* Handle Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT), ensuring correct deductions and submissions for relevant payments.
* Stay updated on changes in tax legislation to ensure continuous compliance with tax regulations.
* Perform accurate bank reconciliations for multiple client accounts, verifying transactions and balances.
* Maintain and update debtors' ledgers, accurately recording outstanding payments and assisting with debtor management processes.
* Process supplier invoices and expenses, ensuring proper coding and approvals, adhering to established accounting procedures.
* Liaise directly with clients to request information, clarify transactions, and resolve queries professionally, providing excellent customer service.
* Provide support to senior accountants and partners as needed, contributing to the team's success.
