Endoscopy Nurse Role Summary
Deliver high-quality patient-centred care within the Endoscopy Unit of a private hospital in Mullingar.
* Provide nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
* Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
* Monitor patients clinical status before during and after procedures
* Manage conscious sedation under hospital protocols
Key Responsibilities
Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and control policies
Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation
Participate in audits accreditation processes and quality-improvement initiatives
Requirements
* Registered General Nurse (RGN) with NMBI pin and eligibility to work in Ireland
* Minimum 1 year post-registration experience preferably in endoscopy theatre or acute care
* Strong knowledge of infection-control patient monitoring and clinical safety protocols
